R26 heavy duty slide

Meet the R26

R26 DD

The R26 is manufactured from high quality cold rolled steel, it is a two beam zinc plated product, delivering a partial extension.  The R26 is the latest slide to offer a bi-directional movement capable of being used to access draws on either side of an application.  The bi-directional movement allows the slide to deliver each beam in order of sequence.

This sequential movement minimises what’s known as ‘ball cage creep’, or when the load twists, bending the inner beam.  This results in an increase of operational force to drive the slide forward, which will eventually ‘seize’ up the slide.  Bi directional heavy duty slides prevent this from happening and therefore are best suited for materials handling applications or where access to stowage needs to accessed from two sides.

The R26 heavy duty slide’s success can be attributed to its simple, yet clean design.  Created as a work horse this heavy duty slide is capable of delivering 80kg per pair at 500mm.
